First Korean food in Melbourne 第一次韓式料理@墨爾本

Finally arranged a lunch date with Darunee, a cute funny Thai girl from my Monash tourism class!

We had not seen each other since last time she came to G+J's wedding party (which was January 28th...), ahh, such a long time~~

Back then we used to hang out together after classes, sometimes complaining about the lecturers, the assignments, the weather, the men, .... , sometimes sharing the thoughts and feeelings, things, sometimes just enjoying the time giggling together...

That day Danuree took me to a Korean restaurant to have lunch, which was my first time to have Korean food in Melbourne! (can't believe that I didn't try any when I was studying here~~)

The restaurant's called "Seoul Restaurant", on Little Bourke Street in the city.

Darunee ordered "Spicy Chicken Box" and I had "Jap Chae dop-bap". (I wouldn't have a clue if they didn't have some description on the menu..., which said, "stir fried potato noodles with vegetables on rice & beef".)

Before the mains were served, there were three samll dishes as entree-- kimchi, pickled cucumbers and deep fried potatoes covered with syrup! (and they are free!!) D just loves the deep fried potatoes with syrup so we actually asked for a second one (which was free too, no extra pay!).

After the mains, we were so full! (I couldn't even finish mine so I packed it home for dinner ^^)

Overall, I think the food was quite good and I'd like to go back to dine there again when there is a chance! :)

終於和Darunee,我研究所的同學,一個超可愛又有趣的泰國女孩,

喬出了一頓午餐約會

距離上一次我們碰面

已經得追溯回一月28號G和公主結婚Party了

看有多久了~~~

之前唸書的時候

我們常常下課後混在一起

有時一起抱怨講師機車,

抱怨報告有多難搞,

罵天氣,罵男人....

有時說說心裡話

有時單純一起瘋一起笑....

就會不自主的回憶往事...

就算是公主也不例外!)

話說那天Darunee帶我去了一間韓式餐廳

是公主我在墨爾本的第一次韓式料理體驗呢!

(沒想到之前唸書的時候竟然都沒吃過....)

她點了"辣雞肉午餐盒"

我點了"@%*&*#..." (就算菜名寫的是英文,我還是"莫宰羊"...)

但幸好下面有一行註解說明內容物為何...

<結果端上桌後,我才知道所謂的"potato noodles"是我們的冬粉~~>

主餐上桌之前

先來了三小碟前菜---

泡菜,涼拌小黃瓜,和糖漿裹炸馬鈴薯

Darunee超愛糖漿裹炸馬鈴薯,

所以我們又再要了一碟

(三小碟前菜免費喔! 加點也免加錢!!)

吃完主餐後,我們兩個都超飽!

(份量還蠻多的,我根本吃不完還打包回家當晚餐 ^^)

我覺得還不錯吃
